Melania Trump will be rejoining her husband, President Donald J. Trump, on the campaign trail to win the hearts and minds of Americans voting in the 2024 U.S. presidential election.
The former First Lady gave an exclusive statement to Fox News ahead of her upcoming campaign event for the Log Cabin Republicans at Mar-a-Lago on Saturday.
"We must unite in our effort to establish a society where equality is the everyday experience of every American," Melania Trump told Fox News Digital. "Individual freedom provides a unifying set of principles, and ultimately establishes our American way."
She continued, "Together, we must nourish and safeguard the seeds of liberty. Because, when successful, America blossoms into a magnificent place where everyone can practice their beliefs, share new ideas, and express individualism — this is when we are our best."
Melania Trump has long been a supporter of the Log Cabin Republicans, a pro-LGBT group. In 2021, she attended their "Spirit of Lincoln" dinner as the guest of honor.
Her special appearance on Saturday will mark an official return to the campaign trail for the former First Lady.
While joining President Trump to vote in the Florida 2024 Republican Primary Election in late March, she hinted at her future involvement in the campaign. "Stay tuned!" she teased reporters.
